How Getaway & Namaste Came To Be
Getaway & Namaste was founded in 2019 and was created from the demand Samantha saw from people connecting with her for private one-on-one yoga classes.

After attending her first silent retreat Samatha was hooked and knew she wanted to create something similar but with her own unique spin.
"Going to a silent retreat felt warm, comforting and very exciting!" Samantha recalled.
The intention Samantha created for herself coming out of this retreat was to build a community of oneness.
"I had a lot of time for self-reflection and journaling throughout this time but also had many emotions unfold there was anger and disappointment uncertainty and challenge."
All these emotions over a 2 day period.
I knew I had to fall in love with the Journey.
Samantha says she has seen yoga help with pain management, stress management, anxiety relief, increased flexibility, mental awareness and recovery time.
"Yoga holds people accountable for their health and wellness", Samantha adds.
Getaway & Namaste was intended to be created as a sanctuary where people can go for ultimate healing.
Having a retreat center with private one-on-one yoga classes, yoga retreats, Yoga and Ayurveda classes and courses, therapies, gardens, and living within nature.
Getaway & Namaste is for anyone looking to find peace within the mind and calm within the body. People that are looking to heal their own lives to live without any symptoms and exactly the way they want to live.

How important is a regular personal yoga practice?
Having regular practice helps us stay in that rest and digest mode within the body.
The parasympathetic nervous system allows our organs to work optimally and functionally. Lowers blood pressure and lowers cholesterol.
Allows us to control our emotions instead of overreacting all the time so we can function in a harmonious way in the world.
Ultimately to know who we truly are.
To have a healthy foundation of the physical body.
What Do You Say to Someone Who is New to Yoga?
“If you're looking for balance within your body, mind and spirit, for something in your life to increase your health and wellbeing, to find peace within the mind and calm within the body, Yoga and Ayurveda may just be the answer you're looking for.
All of the paths of yoga are aimed to remind us of who we truly are. There is no distinction between us and the divine. It already resides within us; it already is our most authentic self.
We just forgot.
That's what Yoga and Ayurveda are about!
Everything we perceive is an illusion (Maya). It's not who we really are, and that's how we alleviate suffering. To not get caught up in the illusion, to become the witness. Witnessing the experience like a movie or a play. Having non-attachment to the outcome. To love yourself unconditionally without judgement. So you can love everyone unconditionally without judgement.”
What is Your Favourite Part of Yoga?
“The Yamas and the Niyamas. The Philosophy aspect of Yoga that no one ever hears about.
The part of Yoga that isn't on the mat, it's how we hold ourselves in the world around us.”
